Summary
Hirak Rajar Deshe is sequel to the 1969 film Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne (The Adventures of Goopy and Bagha). A unique aspect of the film is that most of the dialogues the film are in rhymes.
Ten years have passed in the kingdom of Shundi. Goopy and Bagha have married the princesses and each has a child, but they are bored with their lives. They are invited to the Kingdom of Diamonds, and a new adventure begins.
The ruler of the Kingdom of Diamonds is oppressing and exploiting his people. He wants a scientist to build him a brainwashing machine. Professor Udayan tries to incite the people to rise up against the tyrant. Goopy and Bagha join forces with the professor to liberate the people from their oppressor.
